Subnautica: Glitchy Cyclops
I think I found the culprit for the glitchy Cyclopse that resulkts in it shifting under your feet and inevitably clipping the player through the hull at some point.
Plants... I did a creative test, the only things in the Cyclops were the prawn in the bay, a locker behind me and a plant pot with a lantern tree, it started twitching after I planted the tree, seemed to stop immediately after I removed it.

I had a similar bug in the lower portion of the cyclopse, i warped myself 600 meter and my cyclops only 500 meters, but it was trough a ground portion. Even if this glitch would be nice for speedrunning, i almost got my cyclopse stuck in ground, or even worse, stuck 500 meters in the void. I also got a locker, wall lockers lantern trees and the prawn in the cyclopse, when this happened, i ran agoinst an open door right before the warp, could be a part of the glitch

I can confirm this. After I also had the bug and was falling through the Cyclops. I tested this with Latern- and Bulbo Tree, the Potato and the Melon . During each growth phase of the plants, the Cyclops wobbled a little each time and when the plants were fully grown, the glitch was back and I was falling out of the Cyclops again. Without plants I had no problem.
For me, It looks like it has something to do with the plant growth mechanic.
So for now, I don't build any plants on my Cyclops to prevent this bug.

I took to keeping an aquarium full of regies and restocked every time I stopped at an outpost. I would build a double containment in all my outposts and stock it with a few regies from the aquarium as well. Fresh food to go.
