Power goes out [in real life] each time I play Subnautica
Description
After about two minutes of Subnautica gameplay, my power goes out (in real life). I play other games perfectly fine on high graphics without tripping the circuit breaker. Don't really know where to put this, possibly a bug?

PC Information
My computer was built my me, and I have a 600W power supply from EVGA, a NVIDIA GeForce 950, an ssd (for booting), and a 1TB hard drive (for game storage). I've tried it three times, each time the power went out.

thanks.

Computer or house?

Sounds like an old fuse problem to me. Need to check your breaker panel.

Not the whole house, but the room my computer is in and the kitchen.

Yeah, but it happens each time :/

Try turning Vsync on - it'll stop Subnautica from causing your computer to draw more power than it needs to, but it will also cause screen tearing.

I can't tell you whether your power supply or your house's wiring is the problem, sorry.

Consider buying termonuclear power generator or at least a set of hamsters and wheels.

Circuit breaker is probably too weak for full power drain of your computer. Try to turn off every electric device on the same branch, it might help especially if you live in country where it's completely normal to put washing machine and dryer in the kitchen.

Definitelly not a bug tho. It's a problem in your power supply system(of your house).

No wonder you think it's caused by the game since you do not have any similar game in terms of system load it can put in.

Also, if your room power circuit is the same as kitchen (including the oven, fridge, etc.) it's most likely that you are overloading that specific circuit if it runs everything simultaneously.

Your computer is drawing full power the PSU can take and your house circuit can't handle that. Reduce power draw on that circuit. For example move battery chargers and phone chargers to other circuits.

maybe the fuze/circuit trip setting is too low, is it 3 amp, 5 amp or 13 amp, kitchen should be 13 amp, but then again kitchen should be on its own circuit and not mix with other rooms in a house, due to load.

A fuse would go out one time and have to be replaced. They protect from overloads by burning through a thin strip of conductive material. They only work a single time. They have the advantage over circuit breakers of being much faster to trip and are cheaper individually. The disadvantage is they only trip once.
