Can't even try interior decorating without inevitably being interrupted by enough sea dragon humping to make you eventually hit something.
Between the worse occasions where it just starts outright attacking for direct damage, rather than "Harmless" bashing you 90 degrees so often you eventually hit something. Or your prawn suit glitches in the docking bay because your cyclops was still two degrees off center.
It's just so sad watching them have no idea how to path between watching them clip through the nearby mountain rocks. They just have no idea what to do with themselves when not allowed to attack (except when they attack anyways). Go home dragon, you're drunk.
That said, it's fascinating how if I'm the one to say "The Cyclops is so lame right now, you are probably better off walking there with your Prawn" causes a melt down about how the Cyclops is great.
But if I do want to use use it and park it outside of the Alien Containment Faciity? "Why would you ever use the cyclops?"
Cyclops viability. Always the opposite of what I say.
EDIT: I worded this incorrectly earlier. I'm dumb when I multitask.
But, alas. Eventually they go "Wait a minute, there's a parked engines off Cyclops up there!" and rush directly upwards to slam me into the ceiling for hull damage. And just the once was enough to start fires.
Parking in the middle well above the floor and well below the ceiling of course, has not been of any use either as said before.
While their antics was less frequent (but not nonexistent) in my post launch gameplay, part of the snag with your advice is the times where even the trip towards the engine room was more than enough time for them to take offense to my engines off ride. (Also it means no recharging them with the thermal reactor, but by then you have access to infinity ions within the next five minutes)
Much more shameful are all the clipping errors anyways. What a ride from pre-launch "Stop doubting we'll ever fix it! We're years long vets of the industry!" to "Uh.... Well everyone KNOWS it's literally impossible to fix in this engine(why did we pick this engine then if we're such experience vets of the industry? uh...)
Given the expansion has 1,000% more reliance on surface interations than the base game with such concepts as SPACE TRUCK, and tunneling monsters. Hopefully it's because they think they can actually handle it this time (not needing to build off the corpse of an abandoned terrain edit system may help there)
