- First time i was inside my base and was sudenly sent outside. Can't remember was i was doing exactly.
- Today i was inside my Cyclops maybe 250m deep, reading the PDA when sudenly i was in the water with my Cyclops slowly spining a few tens of meters away
System W10 pro brand new install running on I5 8600K, 16G ram, GTX1060 6G, 500G SSD
First time was while reading PDA second time i was not doing anything special, just standing there thinking ;)
Once "outside" my O2 is not depleting and i am not able to swim but i can walk and the sound is the "walk on metal floor" one, if i walk further i fall from the Cyclops still not able to swim until i hit the sea floor, then i can swim back to Cyclops
Can't tell what triggers it since it hasn't just been using the PDA or accessing lockers.
There's also a weird duplication bug happening at the same time, I've gotten doubles of my tools and once upgrades for my scanner room. Can't say if that's a result of bringing up the debug console but the above command is the only one I know.
I guess I'm 2/3 of the way through the game and my impression is that I need a working Cyclops to finish it (?)
Since I've fallen in love with Subnautica I really don't want to continue with such an immersion-breaking bug, but the info I've found on it has been inconclusive and sadly it seems to have been around for years.
Really hoping there's a fix somewhere.
I was wondering though whether anyone else has been teleported whilst inside the cyclops.
Anyway, all I can advise is: save. often.
One moment standing in my Cyclops, the next being catapulted into space. When distance reached 4 km, I figured I would try to relog. That helped sorta, stared falling down again, but landed about 2.5 km from the Cyclops. Started swimming towards it, and then had my first encounter whit what I assume was a ghost reaper. Game over.
I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ furious right now !
