Can't pick up anything or open inventory

When i load into a game i can't pick anything up. it shows the animation of picking things up and the fish dissapear but they dont show up in my inventory. When i go to open my inventory it opens but is just a blue pannle with no tabs or spaces and i cant close my inventory either. I nned halp cause subnautica is litterally unplayable
