Reinforcement and Windows
So I'm building a base, and made a T Compartment. I tried to place reinforcement on the side, and a window on top. I started building the reinforcement, but ran out of titanium. So I made the window and planned to go get titanium afterward. Well, I THOUGHT I was placing the window on top, but apparently I was not. I seem to have placed the window ON TOP of my reinforcement. I tried to deconstruct the reinforcement, and got some done, but I can't get it completely off. It keeps telling me to, "Finish deconstruction of attached components first." However, I can't DO that. What am I supposed to do?

EDIT: I managed to fix it. For those experiencing the same problem: try building a base piece on the side. It won't connect, but it should enable you to more easily remove the reinforcement.

The game also has a nasty habit of blatently deleting partially constructed items when you get too far away from them. In particular when you save and then load said save while far away.
Also.. remove the scanner room upgrades before you deconstruct that, game wont see them when you take it apart and you lose them for free. Not to mention the free cameras from moving it....

But thats off topic a bit from your post.. Honest I would like to add the game likes to put connections through windows and reinforcements that exist when you build something next to it that auto connects to the place you have a window/reinforcement. This causes the window/reinforcement that was there to be simply deleted outright.

I tried moving far away to delete them, but it didn't do anything. I've duplicated at least 5 cameras from scanner rooms that I want to get rid of, but don't think I can. Honestly the worst part about that is when you have 2 cameras labeled "Camera 2" and no "Camera 1."

I would enjoy it more if I didn't have the possiblity of accidentally putting a reinforcement over a window lol. I once got myself stuck in my own base due to trying to build over part of my X connection with a curved compartment. Sadly, there was a hatch there and I got stuck inside, with no quartz to save myself. I had to warp myself out.

Back to the topic, yeah, that would work, but what ended up happening was it was on a T compartment, so I couldn't do that. It somewhat worked, I was able to remove the rest of the reinforcement after that.
