power leech stuck INSIDE my cyclops

My cyclops started making this godawful banging noise and when I went to investigate I found a leech thing floating around in the engine area above my head glitching against the wall. I've tried killing it to get rid of it, turning on and off the shields, reloading the game. It's bad enough that it sounds like thunder whenever anything so much as touches this thing, but now every time this leech glitches against the wall it's overwhelming. It's like piloting an underwater steel drum mid concert. Can i do something to make it go away?

You can use commands to spawn a new one, it isn't cheating since it is a bug.

@fallencat that didn't work either. But after an hour the problem somehow resolved itself, no idea how.
