Can't construct a Base
So I've built my general purpose room, but try as I might, I can't connect any rooms to it. I've tried building one directly above, but I can't build a ladder on any of the pads. I've tried connecting room with corridors, but they're always redded out. Am I missing something?

Screenshots might help.

It could be a few things, although a bug might be preventing you as well. You need to make sure the area is clear around the MPR (multipurpose room). If there is terrain in the way or you have other base components too close then you won't be able to build. You need to make sure the placement is accurate. If you are too high or low in the water that can mess with things. You need to have the inside of the MPR empty. If you have lockers or something already there that will block soemthing new from being built. If you a building an MPR on top of another then it has to actually be directly on top. They become one and not separated by a level. Again, you have to have the first MPR empty. The ladders only have specific areas they can be built and they can't block anything already built. Can you build a cross piece and other corridors off that when it isn't connected to the MPR? If not, are your batteries dead on your habitat controller? You have no idea how many times I thought I had a bug only to realize just before posting that I was out of battery power. If none of these suggestions help then take screenshots of what you are trying to do and the red component and post them so we can see and maybe offer insight or discover a bug that might be hidden.
