Unable to Repair the Aurora's Drive Core
I was streaming my adventures throught the Aurora, discovering the laboratory for the first time. After I finished, I went to grab the power efficiency module and repair the drive core.
However, when I would repair one of the points, it wouldn't disappear and often times the number left didn't drop. If I looked at it from a certain position and angle (often a foot next to the actual point) it would let me repair it again. After fumbling around for 15 minutes, patience slowly dropping, I finally got to one left (even though it showed most of the points still in need of repairs) and after tediously trying to find where to look to repair the point, and I used my repair tool. (which was at 100% when I went in and was at about 17% now)
I gave up and quit upon finishing that and a message popping up saying 10 more fractures remaing.
From what I've seen, nobody has posted a problem like this in the discussion board.

how many times you respawn the aurora?

and the tool...welder, this tool use a battery. when you use the tool, the battery drops the power. is normal.

About the battery, I know it uses power, but usually for the 10 little points, I think it doens't even drop under 50% from full power. I said that because that's just how long I was trying to repair the core.

I had no problem repairing the leaks of the core, but it actually looks like a problem I had with many closed doors (those with a handle or those you have to laser-cut) on the wrecks all around the subnautica map. The game spawned several doors one on each others on the same spot. Once I had to laser-cut ten times a single door to finally create a hole.
I think it's a recent bug from december's or january's update. If the game has to generate a tool-interacting object, it sometimes spawn the same object several times and superpose them.

Try to persist, take a lot of batteries. I found that the repairing of the nuclear core of a FREAKING SPACESHIP was much too easy and quick, it was a bit disappointing. Finally, you have a more realistic work to do, thanks to the bug :D

I would have just sucked it up and used all the batteries possible, but I found that many of the leaks I couldn't even repair. Sometimes I'd be able to repair one, but again, it took me 10 minutes trying to find the perfect spot of a single leak.
It almost seems like the leaks were placed under one the pipes that are sticking out but the graphic isn't in the same spot. It's where the leak should be.

Just found a console debug command which automatically fix the leaks of the Aurora. It's "fixleaks".
If you don't know how to use the console : http://subnautica.wikia.com/wiki/Debug_Console_Commands
