and the tool...welder, this tool use a battery. when you use the tool, the battery drops the power. is normal.
I think it's a recent bug from december's or january's update. If the game has to generate a tool-interacting object, it sometimes spawn the same object several times and superpose them.
Try to persist, take a lot of batteries. I found that the repairing of the nuclear core of a FREAKING SPACESHIP was much too easy and quick, it was a bit disappointing. Finally, you have a more realistic work to do, thanks to the bug :D
It almost seems like the leaks were placed under one the pipes that are sticking out but the graphic isn't in the same spot. It's where the leak should be.
