As Bonger said, Boey didn't suffer anything at all, and since this was a simple mistake, I don't see why you couldn't just "spawn" Boey back in, and be a bit more careful.

They used the animation to clip the cuddlefish through the base, when they placed their alien containment inside the base the cuddlefish was on the way, and the game removed it.
