Open up Windows Explorer or your hardware's equivalent of it and doubleclick on "C:\" or "This Computer,"

then "Program Files (x86),"

then "Steam,"

then "SteamApps,"

then "sommon,"

then "Subnautica,"

then "SNAppdata,"

then "SavedGames."

Its hard to believe that there are still people that cannot do things like this on the computer. Bless you!
I've followed all these steps up to " Common ". Once I open that folder, Subnautica is the only one who's folder is not located there. I tried searching Subnautica on Cortana to try and find the folder, but the only thing that comes up is the game launcher. Any suggestions?

Right click the game launcher - proprerties - Open files local (or whatever)
You may have to enable hidden files or use administrator
Windows 10 is the same in some ways as windows 7
Go to your control panel /all or just search it then open file Explorer options>open View tab and tick >show hidden files folders and hidden drives apply and ok
then go here>
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Subnautica\SNAppData\SavedGames

It seems worth mentioning that if your game files are stored in a separate "SteamLibrary" directory, that's the place you need to go (not the ProgramFiles one, and not Documents either).
"SteamLibrary" is the default name given by Steam to a separate library directory, so if all or some of your games are missing from ProgramFiles\Steam\etc, then it's very likely they were saved to C:\SteamLibrary or D:\SteamLibrary or whatever.
In that case, go there first, then \steamapaps\common\Subnautica etc, you get the drift..
If there's more than one saved game, you're probably looking for the one that has the most recent "Date modified" stamp on it.

Since everyone is an a*****e and smug: on release on Windows it is C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\LocalLow\Unknown Worlds\Subnautica\Subnautica\SavedGames\slot0000 in your case <user_name> will be your user name on windows, you will also need to enable "show hidden files" or "show hidden" on the "vew" tab of your file explorer (thing that you brows your PC with). On mac it is should be something like ~/Library/Unkown worlds/Unknown Worlds\Subnautica\Subnautica\SavedGames\slot0000 , where library can be just searched for in launcher.
