How do you enable vsync
Trying to force it via Nvidias drivers doesnt work.

Game is running at 200+ FPS, which is making my GPU fan sound like an airplane.

60 FPS is fine for me, is there a way to enable vsync? I see it set to 0 in the F3 options, but no way to change it.

If you don't mind using external applications, try downloading MSI Afterburner and set max fps to 60, works for me! Also, you can set custom cooling criteria, which is nice imo.

hmm we limit it to 144, so you shouldn't be cooking your GPU at 200+ now. are you sure?

i'll add a vsync option to the F3 menu pretty soon.

You're right. In the actual game, it seems to cap around 144. During the screens where its loading it goes above that for some reason. Thx for adding it in a future build though.

Any idea why forcing it via the drivers doesnt work? Seems to work for most other games.

You can use nvidia inspector to limit the framerate of any game.

I can't force v-sync or select it in the options since the last update.

Ditto

If you're still needing a way to enable vsync in game. Hit F3 then Enter then type vsync then hit Enter. It limits fps to 60.

my issue is that the disable console button is checked, and any time i click it to uncheck it, it closes the window instead.

F3 + F8 and you should be able to click things in the F3-menu.
Gadzooks 9 AGO 2015 a las 14:40
Nope... still wont let me click to uncheck the disable console option. Always closes the window, no matter what I try. Ive read the F8 suggestion before and have tried in up, down and backwards with no luck.

Seriously though. The devs just need to put an option in the freaking options menu.

F3 and the feedback menu (F8) are simultaneously opened when you try to click?
That's strange. Because usually that's the trick.
Gadzooks 9 AGO 2015 a las 14:47
yes
I get that having the F8 window open is supposed to keep the mouse pointer around... however, when I click ANYTHING on the f3 menu, it makes the window and my pointer go away, including the F8 window. Ive also tried it with the ESC menu being open, with the same results
SergeantSplatter 9 AGO 2015 a las 15:20
Usually that's the behavior when you have opened F3 + ESC. It's unusual (heard the first time of it) that it happens with F3 + F8, too.
Since one update, you're no longer able to click without having F8 opened (I think you already know that) - possibly you downloaded a damaged update file back then, when this was changed. Have you reinstalled or repaired your game since then?

Maybe you should try out fullscreen or windowed or another resolution, if you haven't yet.

Maybe it's a strange bug, related to your mouse (or other) drivers, which cause a conflict. I'm really only guessing here...

Unfortunately, (complete) option menus seem to be things, that are made at the end of development.
