Recharging system
Is there any way to recharge the sub, seaglide or flashlight ? Is it planned for the future ? Some of the items like the sea glide work even after they have run out of charge so right now its not an issue but in the future it will be.

From what I know not at the moment. You have to build a new one once it runs out of power.

Let's hope they add different kinds of options for power. Different kind of batteries, solar panels, reactors. Right now it just feels more like an annoyance than a challenge.

You dont have to remake moth or seaglide. Even tho the bar says there is no power left they keep on working.

From what I've done, you can recharge (at least the Sea Glide) with crafted batteries. Just equip the item and press R when you have a battery in your inventory.

Really? I tried that before and it didnt work .I will have to try that again. Maybe it was just a glitch the last time i tried. Ill check it out again. Thanks Riktor !

Just tried pressing R to recharge my little propeller thing; I can vouche, it works! Thank you

And damn, now I have this extra seaglide that is just taking up space...

All the vehicles can be recharged. Seaglide prompts you to replace batteries by pressing R. You have to manually replace power cell on back of Seamoth, and in the engine room on the Cyclops there are spots that hold the power cells where you can put in new ones there to recharge.

They might have added this functionality recently, but you can now replace the power cells on the subs - on the Cyclops they're inside, on the Seamoth there's only one, at the back.

If you have a look at the trello board, the devs are currently working on a recharging station for batteries/energy cells. To solve all our power needs :-)

Although the seamoth can be recharged using the moonpool (once you unlock it). And anyway, power cells are not that hard to make. It's silver ore that I'm always dying for.

Power cells arent hard to make, but they are made from a limited resource. There is only so much copper in the world right?

The best way to recharge tools (all tools, except the seaglide) is to use the recharge fins. If you equip those and swim about wih an item needing a recharge in your hands, you will gradually see the charge percentage increase. I use this to keep all my tools running without constantly making batteries.

You can build the fins in the upgrade station which you must find the fragments for.

You can charge the SeaGlide with the recharge fins also, but only by swimming up & down (space & c keys by default). It is really tedious though.
