This will be easier to know what you have than to tell you what you need as most laptops don't permit the types of upgrades possibly needed based on the age of your system.
Which one you do you have? 440? 450? 640? G1? G2?

This laptop /can/ play the game, but just barely.
This is mostly because of the Graphics adapter built into the system, in your case, the Intel HD Graphics 4600. This matches the minimum requirement for the game.
It also shares the Memory (RAM) of your computer between the system and the graphics, which essentially means you no longer meet the minimum requirements.
You may be able to upgrade the RAM for improved performance, but it would be just a bandaid over the larger problem.
The laptop you have wasn't meant for gaming, but rather business and education applications such as Word, Powerpoint, Excel, web browsing, and streaming media (YouTube, Netflix, etc).
If you are looking for something new, you would want something with "Discrete" or "Dedicated" graphics.
For example, around the same price that was paid for your HP ProBook 450, you could have gotten the following: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152743
This laptop is more suited for gaming thanks to increased memory, faster processor, and dedicated graphics.
