CHARACTER CREATION

I suggest a CHARACTER CREATION to this game to get maximum benefit to ALL GAMERS and not just the ones, used to watch the same face, through all the play throughs.

Reason is simple, people in this day want to "roleplay" in the given surroundings of the game. The roleplay is a lot easier if the gamer can insert a character that stands for his/HERS image. I have played through all the DD, ADD, ROLEMASTER, CYPERPUNK and other roleplaying games and I always played as male human character, even anything goes.

With character creation, I BUY THE GAME. Without character creation, forget it.

MORE CLEARLY:

1. I set up a TOPIC in Subnautica FORUM...

2. I set the title of this topic as "CHARACTER CREATION", cause I would LIKE IT.

3. I express my opinions to show, that Im not asking this add to the game just on a whim.

4. I havent attacked AT ANYONE or HAVE THE DEVs in hostage, to make it happen.

5. I have been attacked at SEVERAL TIMES and the trolls keep on IGNORING THE TOPIC.
(The trolls have been confirmed by the MODERATOR, who removed the messages I LABELLED AS TROLLING!)

6. I DEFEND MYSELF, by refuting each trolls 100% and that is NOT TROLLING! Even you cant handle being refuted totally, Its just not trolling from my part. I know it looks harsh, when I slam the REALITY on the table and the trolls start to cry. But thats what you get for OFF TOPIC ATTACKS!

7. I really dont understand WHY people want to ATTACK MY CHARACTER, ITS NOT THE TOPIC! A*N*D, attacking at my character, MAKES YOU THE TROLL. Deny that and prepare to have Drwin award for your INPUT as a human being.
(Worst of them actually sunk so low, when all he tried FAILED, he started to accuse me for wanting just ATTENTION. You have any IDEA HOW PATHETIC that was from him, who came just TO TROLL ME, TO MY THREAD, demanding MY ATTENTION for his shortcomings and problems in life ! ? ! OMFG!)

I didnt even KNOW these TROLL people, who came to this THREAD and started to attack at my character. You actually have to be mentally DEAD, WARPED or TWISTED so badly, If you cant see the FACT, that the topic is NOT ABOUT ME. I totally understand that people who are afraid of CHANGE, are rather attacking at the MESSENGER, than to accept the CHANGE. SO, just calm down and lets talk about SUBNAUTICA ONLY, ok?

8. I understand that my opinion is just ONE and Im not expecting the DEVs to OBEY just me.

9. I got messages SUPPORTING MY IDEA, that CHARACTER CREATION would be FUN!

10. I am NOT ALONE with my demand, to have CHARACTER CREATION possibility in
game. Cause other people would like it too, so I kept my stand and WILL KEEP IT UNTIL WE GET IT.

11. I really want the CHARACTER CREATION before I buy the game, without it... NO SALE.

12. I know it is more work, but the DEVs are ALREADY about to sell the game UNFINISHED. So, If they want money NOW, they know what to do to the game NEXT!

13. I have no ill will against anyone and my purpose is just to have this freature in the GAME:SUBNAUTICA! Fair Enough?

That's sad, you would miss a unique game among the survival games. But it's your decision.
Apart from that, there is no reason for a more customizable character creation. You never see your face... A male and a female model should be enough.

Sure, your opinion noted and thats it. My requirement for spending a $ for this game, would require a character creation possibility. AND, even if they add it, I would find a way to review the character creation FIRST, that it is satisfactory, before I buy it.

It is only a matter of taste, some like to play hard and ruthless game, I like the DEFAULT difficulty level.

For me, the projection is the key. More I can the character look like me, more I enjoy the game. It could not be any simpler than that, eh?

I wouldn't bet on character customization. There could be coop in the game, after it got full released. That's the only point, where I could imagine that they will add something like a character editor.

Good sudgestion, but it would not do much, you cant even see your onw face. but if they were to add it in it would be cool if you could see your reflection in glass(kind of like in metroid)

Who needs character creation when the defualt character is Micheal Jackson? Seriously, just check out that shadow. Any second now that slick dude will break out a fedora and slide right into an oceanic rendition of Smooth Criminal.

As we know already, the game _IS work in progress_... Anything is possiblle and im just predicting the evolution of this game. If they choose not to add it after a year of dev. FINE, I buy it waiting for another year. Its not REDUCED FROM ME, its their loss xD

AND, if you would have read my previous thread of the same topic and understood that I was called a TROLL (plus day ban from this forum) by STEAM "moderator" for asking CHARACTER GENERATOR, cause I LIKE IT. I wont explain my reasoning behind my demand anymore, cause I had enough of trolling already(and dont want it to happen again), PLUS the evidence meterial to my claims of entertainment industry.

FYI, I have learned NOT TO care what other people think, cause they mostly try to troll ME anyway and if the moderators would have at least IQ 75, they would also understand, that I was speaking to the creators and make them to understand, that if they want to sell the game to me, THEY WOULD HAVE TO ADD THE CHARACTER GENERATOR, my mistake was to think that I can speak openly in this forum, specially as EQUAL even Im in the group of hated people(dont ask, cause Im not going to answer, cause answering to that question may be "trolling" in the eyes of STEAM "moderators" and they have no shame in banning people for it.).

PS: Previous time I posted a topic, was about SPELUNKY ghost. I like many other people hated it and we wanted it out of the game. SO, not only I was called f a g g o t ETC(but the people who did that, got a free pass and NO BAN, no HATECRIME label, so it is just me then), only cause I didnt like to play the game as the trolls did. This is how messed up world we are living in, slowly but SURELY, majority of gamers are moving to the IQ 120, even the social justice warriors are trying to degenerate gaming down to IQ 60(really, their games cant be called actual games actually, they are like TROLLING SATIRE from social behave) and Im not interested that kind of games. PLUS Im also creating 1st person view war game, mostly about WW2(it has a character generator, even the player him/herself cant see their character, minus the few occasions it can be seen in reflections...)...

k dont buy it if you are only gonna use a charcter creator

Looks like, you are more in RPG's than in survival games - which are normaly not that related to the person you play as it would be in a RPG.

Generaly you would hardly find a decent charakter creator among the survivalgames (like you have one in Skyrim, Dark Souls etc).

Can't tell if trolling. We don't need a character customizer unless multiplayer is added, or a stats system is implemented and you can customize those stats before you start a game.

well thats very stupid.
this game is first person and you cant even see your face which is the only thing that most roleplaying gamers usally customize so that tells that that there would be no point what so ever and there isnt EVEN MULTIPLAYER (yet.... maybe..... devs are thinking about it their saying after full realese) so character customization would be the stupidest idea for a game like this, and that really stinks because this is a extremly good game and because you cant have this intsy bitsy little detail which would provide nothing to your character at all or nothing to improve the game or nothing anyone could EVEN SEE (unless freecam) you are not going to buy the game.
and this thread is not going to help you get this into subnautica.
the devs are working very hard on making this a great game and its working out great with awsome graphics gameplay and monsters and this is early acess. this team of devs is already working there butts off to make us the gamers happy and we are (most of us at least) everyones giving positive feedback and imangine your a dev and someone tells you their not going to buy your game because of one little feature which would take away from the devs making something like a new submarine, new monsters, or just the crash site in general.

here you can vote on features here and in the long term section theres "story elements and audiologs"which if character creation would be anywhere it would be there and theres another voting thing where you can ligitamently type down your ideas but i do not know that link (if someone could type that somewhere that would be great) but my point is your missing out on a great.... wait wait no.... GREATLY AWSOMELY GREATLY ULTIMATE game because of one little thing but people have diffrent opinions and your is diffrent and thats okay.

I didnt make my self clear here, cause Im not English speaking person.

I didnt actually mean, that the character had to have like STATS, ABILITIES or EXP. I meant that the player could have chosen the appearance of his/hers character. That is the key with me, but it does not remove the survival part from the game, IF I CAN CHOOSE HOW I LOOK. Right?

AND the bottom line is, If I cant project my self on the character that I play, Im not interested about the game if it was like MASS EFFECT 9000!

Well, specially. If they make MASS EFFECT 3 and no ability to create a character, that closely reminds of me, so I would not buy it, EVER and PERIOD.

But calling me "stupid" (I take that as noninsultive statement, for now...) If I dont buy the game, THAT I DONT LIKE TO PLAY?! Is a bit too much, cause that statement rather describes your low IQ level, than actually answering to the POINT here.

But hey, Im not pointing any fingers here, cause I already havent gotten ANY messages from the people, who previously TROLLED ME. So, thank you for that... at least.

REMEMBER: All I ask is, cosmetic character creation for this game and you get my money too. That should not be sounding trolling in any way or sense. Cause Im not the kind of a person, who buys products he dont like. FAIR ENOUGH?

Character creation wouldn't happen.
