How do you spawn in sea base in the dev branch?

For the fastest possible cheat-y way to get a base, do this:

1) Pause the game and hit F3, make sure "disable console" is UN-checked.
2) Un-pause the game.
3) Open the console with the ~ or Enter key
4) Type "Item builder" to obtain a builder tool.
5) Type "item glass 5" to obtain five glass.
6) Type "item titanium 20" to obtain 20 units of titanium... some might fall away from you if you don't have inventory space for it all.

Now just use the builder tool to build a small base. Repeat steps 5 or 6 if you run out of glass or titanium.

The builder tool is activated with a right click, and then there is a menu, and you select the part you want to build, and you can rotate the part before placing using your mouse scroll wheel.

Spawn a base? If you don't want to spawn all the items or hunt them out, just put in the console "NOCOST" and use the Builder tool to make one. Easiest way to do it. :)

Aha! Thanks for the faster method. :) I didn't know the nocost command.

Yeah, it's much easier and faster method than taking lots of time to hunt down the need pieces in the environment. Not that I'm against that, but being the player in the Experimental Mode, daily restarts after updates is always needed, so using NOCOST is just the best method to get everything again.

Hit your F3 key, uncheck the "disable console" option at the top. Now you can use the console command window to type.
