Any chance of working on 32 bit? :)
Hi guys, I know the recommended specs said 64-bit with vista (Running Windows 7) and in no way doing the ‘I want my money back’ thing as I loved the look of the game and wanted to support it anyhow, taking a gamble to see if it could run or at a later date can run the game.

What I’m asking (If a Dev sees this) Will there be a 32 bit update at some point or do any players now a ‘temp fix’ to get it working?

Until some days ago, 64 bit was not mentioned.... I actually play it on Win 7 32 bit.

@Devs: Now what happen? I will not able to run next builds?

we are still investigating these issues. for now, it should run if you play on min spec, at least not immediately crash. if it doesn't, it's likely due to some other issue

Umm, I run the game on min specs but it crashes after it attempts to load the main game world.

Operating System
Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit SP1
CPU
AMD A6-3670
RAM
4.00GB DDR3 @ 798MHz
Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. F1A55-M LX (FM1 )
Graphics
HP w2007 (1680x1050@59Hz)
1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti

Is it anything to do with my current Specs?

Your going to have to go 64-bit if you want to keep playing games. Most are going 64b only.

yeah 4gb ram is definitely on the low side. we will see what we can do, but it may not be possible.

If you want to game on your PC you will want to go to 64bit eventually to run higher amounts of ram as 32bit OS caps at 4gb. But you'll also probably find less than that usable for the game because of other processes using it aswell. Its the reason I upgraded my system to 64bit, so my system wasnt capped.

I do have a question though, its a bit off topic but, Do the devs have any plans for optimising Subnautica for higher resolutions? I use triple monitors 5760x1080 resolution, and I think this game would look amazing optimised for multiple displays. :)

Also keep in mind that after a while, parts of the map may become corrupt and use up way more resources to run than it should otherwise. You can gain a sense of what's going on in GenerikB's playthrough of Subnautica. I've had the same issue as him as well.

I play on a 64 bit with higher than average computer specs at the moment.

as far as i can tell this game does NOT run in 64. All registers in tm gives the game a *32 designation.

"Subnautica.exe *32 00 1,300,000k Subnautica"
No rt priority advailable

"recomended" settings

Game will not render under "high exp." settings.

I have already ordered a 64-bit install disc and I actually have 8gb installed into my computer, but as you know 32-bit can only use 4gb max.
