poor resolution choices
as it stands...we have been forced to run the game with the expectation that ALL players own a widescreen monitor

My native res is 1028x1024 and this game doesn't support that

can we have any input from the Devs as to why those of us that own 5:4 montiors aren't being able to play at Native res?

I would like a resolution of 1280x1024, which I prefer.

You should be able to force a custom resolution in start options:
e.g.

-screen-width 1280 -screen-height 1024

you would think that....but the game is made in Unity....thus steam settings won't transfer over

Strange. Works with other Unity games just fine. You can also try to do this directly, by creating a shortcut to the exe file and setting start parameters there.

it's got more to do with the fact the game launchs into a launch window which then dictates the screen resolution....unless you know how to add resolutions to a Unity launcher....then it's on the Devs to fix this

It doesn´t matter what resolution is selected in the launcher window, if you force a custom res. via start options. Start a new game with the start options i posted above and ignore what is set in launcher..Try it

Your solution works for the most part, it messes up the menus some, but the UI seems fine once ingame.

Just need an FoV slider now.
