Can't find silver
I looked it up and it says it's in limestone. I've opened 40ish limestone and I only ever get copper and titanium. Where the hecks the silver and jeweled disc piece? I want to make a builder and check out bases.

Head over to the kelp forest area where the Stalker sharks live or out to the deeper valley with the red algae matts and tall rock outcrops. Both locations have plenty of silver. Look for the rocks on the ground only, not those on the side of cliff faces, which are normally Titanium.

As of right now, the only place I find silver consistently has been in the Sea Floor biome (red alegea floor). There the limestones will usually drop silver, and occasionally gold.

You can find a few peices of silver in the shallows laying in the open if you're willing to go cave diving and take the damage from the exploding puffers that normally guard them.

On the minimum setting it's where you start heading into the deeper water with little columes. On higher settings it's the red grass-like stuff on the seabed that now makes it a little harder to spot nodes.

Put your back to the Aurora and swim away from it. Up on the surface is safest. Once you stop seeing seaweed, save your game and dive down. You should be seeing the red grass now. Be aware that some spots have very dangerous aggro fish. Others are completely safe.

It's also possible to find silver in the green seaweed biome, but I think there are fewer safe (from aggro fish) spots so I usually go straight for the red.

Consider making an extra air tank and a seaglide before going. They're quite helpful for getting your first batch of silver.

EDIT : Forgot they've hidden the seaglide recipe for some reason. You'll need some or all of the components in your inventory before the fabricator will show you the option for the seaglide.

Perhaps the pillar like rock formations you occasionally see throughout then red grassy biome. Look for sandstone chunks on the see floor, not limestone chunks on vertical surfaces.
