Missing Cyclops thermal reactor module?

There are supposed to be three possible locations. I have got the data boxes from the mushroom forest wreck and the mountains wreck. There's supposed to be a data box at the grand reef wreck, on a panel lying just outside the wreck itself, but it's not there. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

Mushroom Foerst only has 1 wreck
the Grand Reef wreck I think is the largest one, which is a veritable treasure trove.

Yes, I have read the wiki and watched all the YT vids. My problem is that the data box that's supposed to be at the grand reef wreck is not there. Has anyone else encountered this?

check your inventory carefully. data boxes will disappear if you have obtained their contents from somewhere else.
for example, if you have obtained the ultra-large oxygentank from Degasi Base II, the data box behind Keen's escapepod will disappear

It's quite strange that you would have a databox missing. Are you using any mods, such as randomizer, for example? Have you checked that the module have not been unlocked already? (in the cyclops engine room fabricator)

Yes, I don't already have the thermal reactor. It's not available to build at the cyclops upgrade fabricator. I can even see the space where it's supposed to be.

Yes, the game is vanilla. No mods. I bought the game at Christmas and this is my first playthrough.

You might have to clear CellsCache folder and see if that helps you... Or start a new game and check if the databox is there or still missing... I don't know what file specifically in the cache is responsible for the databoxes, but it's safe to delete all of them. You just get some stuff respawned. The folder would be located in your saved games folder

open console(Alt + Enter) and write this: unlock cyclopsthermalreactormodule

it gives that receipt to you

I just started a new game in creative mode and checked. The data box is missing in that game too. I might try copying my saves and reinstalling the game?

creative mode removes all data boxes, you don't need them in creative mode.

You also should specify that unlocking the console will block all achievements. People who play for the first time might actually care about it.
