Is the stillsuit worth it?
I have a reinforced dive suit, I've already went down to the lava zone and completed everything down there. Would it be worth it to swap the reinforced dive suit for the stillsuit? If so, how do I get the stillsuit blueprints?

If you have the water issue, it might be worth it. To get it you should explore the dunes or the mountains :)
To be a bit more precise if you don't know, then the area west of lifepod 17 wreck. If you go 100 meters west from that and then simply north, that's the dunes.
Or directly northwest of the weapon island. That's the mountains. They are immediately behind it.

Thanks! I set up the water filtration facility so I don't really need it anymore. It's just 3 water filtration machines, a multipurpose room and 4 solar panels. I've already got some salt and 2 water bottles! :D

No. There are so many other ways to get water in the game, you don't need to deal with the psychological dislocation of having to drink your own piss.

But if you want it, I believe that blueprint is inside the wreck at the bottom of Gun Island, just east of the entrance to the big alien moonpool.
Depends on what you are doing. If you know you're going into areas with environmental hazards or leviathans, there is still a benefit to it. However, if you're primarily just base building or collecting large amounts of resources, I prefer the Stillsuit.

The Stillsuit essentially allows you to stay out for an unlimited amount of time without needing to pay attention to thirst (you can always thermal blade a fish in 1-2 seconds to take care of hunger). Plus, and this was a change in the last patch, the Reinforced Dive Suit has a speed movement penalty, even when using the Seaglide. It isn't a massive one, but it adds up over time if you're base building or collecting materials. The Stillsuit has no penalty.

Note that the Reinforced Dive Suit gloves still give partial protection (10% damage reduction) when used with the Stillsuit without applying the speed penalty, so I always keep them on once the radiation is gone.

Thanks, my current base is on the gun island!

I'm just doing random stuff in endgame. I have the rocket built and the disease cured. Early in the game I found the reinforced dive suit in a time capsule, I never got the gloves. I still have the radiation gloves. I do have the recipe though. Is the reinforced dive suit worth it after you've beaten the lava zone?

Just a note that you haven't been getting full protection without the gloves. The Reinforced suit has certain "binary" protections that require the pair. For example, you're immune to Tiger Plants and heat up to 70 degrees with both, but not if you're missing either.

In your case, I would go with the Stillsuit. Warpers are no longer a problem, you won't be in the lava zone, and you likely won't be fighting it out with hostile fauna.

Pluse the prawn exists. (Note: Tiger plants don't hit you even without the gloves.)

Why do you need to think about worth it or not? There is not much thing to do after complete the lava zone. You may just try out everything for fun such as nuclear reaction and build a lot of floodlight to light up the surrounding
