Synthetic Fibers: Have recipe, does not appear in fabricator
Basically what the title says: I have unlocked synthetic fibers (at least, I know all of the ingredients), but synthetic fibers do not appear on the fabricator, not even grayed out.

What gives?

It makes your arms cramp?
Are you playing in VR, then? I tried, but it's not really set up for Touch Controllers, and trying to mod it for Quest 2 just became an exercise in frustration, so I'm sticking with a keyboard and my trackball.
Nope. Just PC, mouse and keyboard. I don't use mods at all. Intense concentration does tend to make my whole body go into fight or flight mode, somewhat like the first time you learn to drive anything. My worst was a 10ton truck. Decided after that it was not for me and I have great respect for truck drivers.

Okay, that's another thing: I have been trawling the depths for blueprints and stuff and have found most of the accessories for the prawn suit, but only 1/3 for the suit itself.
It took me forever to find the plans for the full Cyclops, too.
Did you scan everything in the Prawn room of the Aurora?

No... didn't know there was one.

Kinda thought I'd gone everywhere I can go in the Aurora.

It is actually called the Prawn Bay and is labelled as such. Just go look again. You should find it there.

Awright, I will.
Is it maybe entered from a different spot? The only entrance I really found was this convoluted path that involved walking across a twisted beam or girder...

There is a path that go to a door where you have to put out fires and move obstacles. Either way will take you through the whole ship. Good luck!

Oh, I see what happened!

Last time I went in, I didn't have a repulsion or propulsion gun, and there were some crates blocking my way...

If you ever think "i have enough Titanium" ... youre wrong XD
You seem to make good progress :) Im sure you will find the Path that takes you to your Goal.
If you need something new and never found anything similiar.... the general Rule is "We have to go deeper".

I am starting to discover that. I make a note of of the location of large caches of scrapmetal once my boxes are full and also fragments that I already have. Would however add copper to that, to a slightly lesser extent.

Oh, come now... titanium isn't like adhesive in "Fallout 4": it's everywhere.

But ressources are limited in the Sense that they dont respawn. The more you collect/use, the further away you have to swim to get more.
Exception are Prey fish.

Yeah, sure, but that's not the way your comment read. The implication sure was about the titanium you have on hand.

If I brought back every bit of titanium I found out in the wild, I'd have to build whole bases to store nothing but titanium, that's how much is out there.
Sure, but you also need Tons of Titanium for kinds of Stuff, from plant pots to large Submarines. You will also most likely have more than just one Base before leaving the Planet.
While you can transport all the materials for a mini-base in your inventory and a Transport-Seamoth, many will not be happy with just that. The moment you want to flesh out your Base, the material consumption will be huge.

As a personal side-project in one Game, i build an Archive. Several large multipurpose Rooms, reinforcements, plant beds, Foundations, energy sources, Containments,.... it took a big chunk of Ressources just to build that^^

I'm way, way past most of this advice; I've got two bases, a Cyclops, a Seamoth, and now a Prawn suit.

And I still have a whopping-great surplus of titanium.

Heck, there are still some wrecks out there where I never even picked up the metal debris you can turn into four titanium; they're still just sitting there for when I need 'em.
Seriously, I really don't need titanium as much as you're sayin'.

I, on the other hand, use that as my play-style a lot.
I still don't need more titanium.
