If the Cyclops has the thermal charger, it takes a LOT of larvae to drain more power than the charger produces. Just tap the shield if you get more than a few stuck on and you're golden. As far as space, those are some huge, open areas - and the Cyclops does have the advantage that, when it's motionless, Sea Dragons tend to ignore it. Ryley swimming or the PRAWN, it'll come after even if they're sitting still. That being said, always bring the PRAWN with it, since that thing makes exploring smaller crevices and alien buildings so much easier.
