To get to the alien structures in lava zone
Can the cyclops go down that deep as long as the proper depth upgrades are in? Or should I park it somewhere and proceed with my prawn?

The cyclops can go as deep as the playable area of the game, so yes, you can bring it down there,

Why not just play the game yourself experiment, do it yourself don't come and ask other people, kind of takes the fun out of playing games, if you're doing what other people say.

The technically correct answer is that it can get you as close to the final part of the game as it can. It technically can't go any further nor in depth, nor physically: only PRAWN can go deeper, but PRAWN is also the only one capable of physically traversing that deep.

Also this. Why not just push forward and see how far Cyclops can get? Then you can make a base there, put everything you need, craft everything you need and vuala - you can go even further now.

That's just not true. You can park the cyclops right outside the door of the structure. Both the prawn and cyclops can go to 1700 m.
Outside the playable area, (the void) you can go much much deeper but below the crush depth of either vehicle.

honestly if u want to sure but the lava zone is tight so the prawns better for avoiding sea dragons as well as being able to not be affected by the larva that drain battery i think (im preparing to head to the lost river in my 1st play through)

Also worth noting that you can build a modification station on the Cyclops to upgrade the depth modules in real-time if needed. You only find the materials for the deepest upgrade when you're already in the lava biome.

If the Cyclops has the thermal charger, it takes a LOT of larvae to drain more power than the charger produces. Just tap the shield if you get more than a few stuck on and you're golden. As far as space, those are some huge, open areas - and the Cyclops does have the advantage that, when it's motionless, Sea Dragons tend to ignore it. Ryley swimming or the PRAWN, it'll come after even if they're sitting still. That being said, always bring the PRAWN with it, since that thing makes exploring smaller crevices and alien buildings so much easier.
