Can someone tell me what button drops an item?

I mapped everything out on xpadder and it is working great. Made some adjustments and lost the ability to drop items from my inventory. I can't find anything that specifically tells me what button drops items.

Right mouse button is the default "drop item" button.

Press your -->
<-- button and hover to the item you want to drop. Right click it and it will be out of your inventory and it will drop as an "item cube". Unless it is a tool.

I'm having the same problem - I'm doing what Seekerone8 and alex150227 say, but the right mouse button isn't dropping anything.

You can't drop items from your inventory if you're in the Cyclops, the Escape Pod or a Base (created by you). Otherwise, the right mouse button is the 'drop item' button which should be useable if you are either on land (one of the islands) or in the water. If you can't drop an item in either of these places, try relogging (exiting and re-entering the game). If it still doesn't work, send a bug report to the devs including detailed info on where you are, what you're trying to do and what you were doing when it did (or didn't) happen.

The newest way to drop items as of 5/2/19 (not sure what build) is to Alt+Left Click
