Unless you only have the fragment, which needs to be analyzed first before it unlocks the blueprint.
Don't have the fragment either? Go find it in the mushroom forest biome.
Having said that, I've got to admit I haven't found the place yet, either. From what I gather, it is supposed to be S-SW part of the map. Searched in the said region far and wide - no luck.
Edit - Original Poster (OP): for my first moonpool, I used a console command to spawn a fragment and analysed that. The moonpool is SUCH a boon to the whole system, I can understand the reasons for it to be hard to obtain. It does clash with the idea of "all our previous base-building tech are belong to us" though. Can't possibly imagine how we have those records of habitats on our memory sticks... but not the moonpool info? Riiight.
