I just want to say something: this soundtrack is amazing. Subnautica is the only game that I don't listen to other music for. I even have a playlist with subnautica music for other games.

Asher-7, here is my Soundcloud playlist of the available tracks by the composer on the site: https://soundcloud.com/elak-swindell/sets/subnautica-music. It doesn't contain every song in the game though. Right now, my soundtrack contains 23 tracks, though the "Seamoth Dub" is not in the game (it really should be!). There are a few tracks still not put out yet, though the only one that comes to mind at the moment is the mushroom tree forest music.

I wish there was an option to turn down the music or turn it off, it's good music but I like to watch streamers while I'm learning to play this game

There is in Experimental, and will be in the Stable game once the H2.0 update is released.

I plan to build my next main base in Sparse Reef on a new save when the update comes out. The music there is incredible, though each time I hear it, it makes me imagine endless depths, so I'm a little surprised that they used this track for Sparse Reef. I would love to hear that music in a deep biome where water has sapphire color (as it is on the edge of the map). Then again Sparse Reef has a mountainside full of stalagmite-like rock formations, which also look amazing when this music plays.
I'm very impressed with music of Subnautica. It's incredibly atmospheric and that's what I love about it.

The music is great. But it always happen i listen to something else. Found that some parts of the soundtrack for the Shard in mirror's edge catalyst fits well some parts in this game. Like to play this song while around/inn the Aurora.

But some of the subnautica tracks is indeed in my generic playlist with songs from all the other games i like the music from. My favorite soundtracks from Subnautica tho is "Precipice" and "Into The Unknown"

I don't like music in games, because of immersion breaking. Imagine if you were stranded on a planet for real and music would just play out of nowhere. That would freak me out.

I do like to listen to the OST outside of the game though. Good stuff.
