I just want to say something: this soundtrack is amazing. Subnautica is the only game that I don't listen to other music for. I even have a playlist with subnautica music for other games.

There is one music track, I think when entering the red grassy plateaus, that creeps me the hell out. But otherwise I like the music too.

Music (and sound in general) is great - It's just noticeable enough, yet subtle enough that it adds to the atmosphere of diving.

I love the track in the main menu, but I couldn't find it on youtube except for one very poorly recorded, apparently someone sitting with a microphone next to his speakers...

I'm also in great anticipation for the soundtrack, I hope they put the theme from the menu on it.

Guess what? I have the soundtrack! Was buying a game from Humble Bundle earlier and looked at my game download folder showing original purchase of Subnautca from back in October 2014 and the Special Edition soundtrack was available to download as well! Snagged it immediately. There are 11 tracks (which I have balanced out since the beginning and endings were missing their silence gaps and the volume levels needed some balancing), though it should be 12. Unfortunately, the songs "Crush Depth" and "Darkness" were the same. Need to talk with Obraxis about that. Of course, this is just the beginning of the soundtrack since there will eventually be more tunes and I don't think all of them are included in this one. Anyway, if anyone would like a copy, private message me.

I'd love to, but I can't figure out how to do that without adding you on Steam friends.

Edit: not that I'm adverse to adding you, but I can imagine getting a ton of friend request because people are excited about being Steam friends with an official playtester might be rather tedious.

On a side note, have you seen the kickass audio setup UWE posted at one time? So many awesome toys in that rig.

Edit 2: Do you know if Steam early access buyers will be getting cool swag like hull plates and soundtracks too?

Not sure if all of the E.A. players will be getting the soundtrack. I would hope so.
