Report a translation problem
Most of the fish you breed wont be hostile towards you once you've released them into the wild. Some are still dangerous though and non of them are your 'pets'.
You can't really interact with them at all.
Like Warper said, only the Cuddlefish can be interacted with. The eggs can be found in several places of interest.

Gasopods are great.
At this point it will follow you until told to stop (recommended to do this around your base as they can't swim as fast as you, let alone keep up with a vehicle and can get lost) and otherwise let you play with them.
Once you start building your way off of the planet however you will no longer be able to play with them and just say goodby.
