you hold the welder and right click and hold the mouse button then it welds/repairs it.
as you can see you need to be close have battery in the welder and then it will say how much % the seamoth has hold the button and it should get repaired

If the seamoth health is 0% that means it's completely destroyed. It cannot repaired and you have to build another one.

Unless....that's been changed recently. One of the devs said they were going to make the seamoth explode or something at 0% eventually.

It breaks apart at 0%

I too cannot seem to repair the Seamoth. I have about 40% hull integrity. Any word on this bug? Sonar doesn't seem to do anything either but I have a feeling I'm not using it correctly.

0% is not perfect in this game.

Not necessarily. 0% is a rounded floating point value. It's a small issue, but most games that have percentages displayed like this will always round up regardless, but in this game 0.4% and lower rounds down. So it is possible to have 0% health on even yourself and still be alive.

Scratch both of those things. I reset the game and it's fine now.

Am I the only one who always keep a welder on me and repair the Seamoth if it get below 90% "just in case" :P

You have to make sure it says weld and that the welder has battery juice.

No. I always take a welder with me when I take the Seamoth anywhere. I usually don't repair until I'm back at my base though, unless the Seamoth's health is really low.

I was messing around with different tools and I found out you can use the repair tool on it but you have to point the repair tool at the area where you put upgrades into the seamoth.
