A Reaper Leviathan Stole my Seamoth!
So today I decided to visit the Aurora for the first time, went around the rear engines to avoid the reaper leviathans. After looking around and attempting to fix it inside I left the front area. A reaper spawned and grabbed my seamoth, I immediately bailed out and swam to base.

Although the beacon for the seamoth is still on and it has buried it somewhere near the front of the Aurora, don't suppose there is a deep underwater cave that may lead to where it took it?

Because I honestly can't get to it haha

Below the front of the Aurora is a large trench and cavern opening that goes to the Lava Zone. Seamoth's are Reaper toys. Unless you put an EDS module on it (Electrical Defense System - built from the upgrade console in the Moon Pool), you'll continue to loose your subs.
Reapers can fling the seamoth through the ocean floor. I lost one that way once. I just restarted my game and trashed that save.

If you're really keen I suppose the terraformer could theoretically be used to recover it.

But... why would you start again? Seamoths aren't that expensive once you're in the end game. (Aurora fixed, every biome explored, cyclops, been to the lava zone, etc.) and even then it isn't very hard to make :p

1) Having a dud beacon show up for that seamoth I couldn't reach would have been annoying.

2) Seamoths aren't even expensive at the beginning. I would've lost maybe an hour or so by restarting.

Just tried using the terraformer to get it and well, when I reached it.. It blew up, well at least the beacon isn't there ahaha
Good to know the theory worked, up to a point. At least that the terraformer works as an excavation tool.

Did you see the seamoth at all?

Maybe its health hit zero but it failed to explode because it was inside terrain. Then it went boom when you uncovered it. Or maybe the terraformer couldn't distinguish between the seamoth and terrain and destroyed it.
First time a Leviathan grabbed my Moth I panicked and right clicked, bailing out.

I never saw that Seamoth ever again. No beacon, no wreck, nothing.
You can use the shocker thing on the Seamoth now to make the Reaper let go. It saved me and my Seamoth.
I did manage to see it, but it didn't show up with the "left click to get in" it was just embedded in the dirt at that point. When I dug around it, it then blew up; so maybe it's health was 0 but due to the environment it wouldn't blow up or something?
