you literally cannot.

Maybe there's a mod out there that turns their spawns into reapers instead.

Prop cannon + smash into surfaces.

Bleeders don't re-spawn, so you can actually eliminate all of them from the game.

I tried searching for related mods and didn't find any. There are mods to remove Reapers, Reefbacks... No bleeders, somehow. There was a mod to manage creature spawns but it is no longer supported by current version of the game.

Your best bet is installing this mod:

Whenever you have a suspicion there are bleeders nearby (they must load in first, at least once) you put in command:
cleanup bleeder 999

This should delete any confirmed and loaded-at-least-once bleeders in range of 999 meters.
Just keep doing that command upon encountering any.

Why not just stay away from them? I've only ever seen bleeders in two or three places around the map; you don't have to go there. Apart from repairing the Aurora there's not much reason to put up with them.

Why are you trying to AVOID them, when killing them removes them from that area permanently, they literally take one single hit from the knife to kill and the knife does 20 damage with the heated one being double that value, meaning Bleeders have a health value BELOW 20 for the normal knife just needing a single hit to kill.

Because my aim sucks. That's just me. Knifing a single fish takes me like 10 tries. It's not fun.

Agreed, but that's why I mentioned the Prop Gun. You can pull in the Bleeder from a distance, then punt it into the floor or wall for instant death. No aiming required, and it's actually very satisfying. Works well on Biters too.

When it's stuck on your arm, it's a sure kill if you in fact have a knife. No aiming required. Just have to be aware they are there and be ready for them. Annoying little pests.
