how is the vr for this game? is it worth buying just for the vr aspect

I started playing today and its fantastic! I use Quest 3 and all the controls work great.
Usually i stand playing but this is better sitting, feels more natural when swimming and its a time consuming game so standing would get tiresome. I use the SubmergedVR mod. I read it was better than Native i think?

The standard VR is functional, but requires a gamepad. The Submersed VR mod (which I am currently playing) adds actual motion controls (hands) and works really well. It has its quirks, and I'm not a fan of the control bindings, but feels amazing nonetheless:
