after installing mods, Subnautica does not start

yesterday I bought a subnautica, played for 30 minutes and a friend offered to download mods. I downloaded all the mods, I'm trying to launch them via steam - it starts for a couple of seconds, then closes. I'm trying to use the exe - it says "I can't continue executing the code because the system did not detect WINHTTP.dll . ". I reinstalled the game several times, demolished mods, reinstalled drivers for the video card, put it on: Legacy, Inspermental. Nothing helps, who knows how to fix it?

i would start with removing mods one at a time... it is possible that at least one of them may be causing the problem you are seeing...

note, too, that some mods are Legacy only while others require the newest version of Subnautica... don't try to mix them...

I don't understand why I should delete mods one at a time, because I deleted mods from the beginning, then reinstalled the game. I have a folder with mods, there are mods, but there are none in the root folder of the game, a folder on the desktop, and there are no mods in the folder of the game

i may have misunderstood what your 1st post said... i read it as
1. you played the game and everything was fine...
2. then you downloaded *all* the Subnautica mods and installed them...
3. now the game won't start (with the mods installed)...
