Time Capsule locations.
I heard that Time Capsules spawn in developer chosen spots around the map. Yes, they're randomized, I know that, but is there a list of the exact cords of each possible spot a Time Capsule can spawn in? I'm curious if we actually know this or not.

Any ground slot that can spawn a resource can also potentially spawn a time capsule. And the capsule's location is not loaded until that particular chunk is loaded for the first time. This means you can save scum to force them to appear in certain areas like the Deep Sparse Reef.

I don't know exact coordinates but almost all I found are near the periphery of the map and in relatively barren areas. Crash Zone, Grand Reef Sea Treader Location, Sea Trader's Path, Dunes, Mountains.

You can have more time capsules, but be sure to check the requirements of that mod:

Additionally you can scan for them through the scanner room, when using this mod:

Other than that they are quite random.

You can check the wiki and it tells you which biomes and general areas you can find them. But I have never come across any hard data on specific spots that they spawn in. I currently use a mod that doubles the amount of TCs in the game (I've played the game many times, and have beat it as well. So Idc if it is cheating or not lol). So if you want to have a better chance to find them, that is an option. Just like the previous person mentioned. And again, the previous person is correct with there being a mod that allows the scanner room to be able to scan for them. I have never tried that one myself however.
