cuddlefish achievement not working

i repaired the aurora drive core, hatched the cuddlefish and all that but i still didn't get the achievement, could mods be the problem?

Did you release the cuddlefish into the ocean outside? That's when the achievement triggers.

yes i released it into the safe shallows

Did you use console commands? I think they deactivate achievements for the run.

i didn't use console commands but i think i opened the console accidentally

I can confirm this achievement worked as of (early) this morning (Default Game Mode)...

Have you received any other achievement(s) since accidentally opening the Console?
If so, that is probably what is causing your problem with achievements. Oppsie.
