Can someone confirm "Slot Extender" is working?

So I recently started to mod my game and would like to use the arms for the Seamoth.

However, this mod requires the Slot Extender mod to work properly:

Yet, I cannot get that mod working.

I've surely the newest version of BepInEx and Nautilus installed, as required for all my other mods.
But I cannot get the Slot Extender working. My amount of slots always stays the same when starting a new game. :(

I've also tried it by removing all mods (except of Nautilus for sure), but I still only get the regular 5 slots.
Why doesn't it work, when I have no other mods installed at all?

Can someone confirm?

Did you remember to go under the in game menu Options / Mods and configure it or see if it's even listed?

It is.
The problem was, that I got confused about the screenshots thinking the player slots would also increase.
But the mod just adds more slots for the vehicles. ^^

But it does add quick slots. It's listed as one of the mods features.... or are you talking about inventory slots?

It does not add quick slots for the player.

It just adds more slots for the Seamoth, Prawn and even Cyclops if activated separately.
