Also, don't leave the shield, the sonar, or the silent running on, as they drain tons of power.
The fabricator or mod station drain 5 power per use, but only when used. No idle drain.
The radio doesn't drain any power at all.
And in case you were curious, the sub's engines only drain energy when the ship is moving. Leaving the engine or lights on when you're immobile will not drain energy, although active engines still make noise, which can alert leviathans in the area.
