Multiplayer mods?

Me and my friend are looking to play multiplayer but nitrox seems REALLY buggy. Are there any alternative multiplayer mods that arent buggy (or viruses).

Subnautica does not have built in multiplayer, you have to rely on mods for that, which isn't perfect, but it works...kinda.

Nitrox is that bad? Like you wouldn't expect to be able to finish the story because of gamebreaking bugs?

I've never used it myself, only watched videos on YouTube. There are quite a number of them. I've never seen anyone finish the game using it. To be honest though that may not have been their objective. But yes, from what I have seen it is so buggy it approaches slapstick.

It's absolutely not any way to experience this game for the first time. But if you don't care about the story, don't mind bugs, and just want to mess around with in the ocean with friends, it somewhat works for that purpose.
