Report a translation problem
Dropped items do not despawn, but they can clip through the seabed if you move far enough away from them, which effectively removes them from the game. Items will not clip through base structures or the lifepods though, so anything dropped there can be found.
That means it will still be there when we load the savegame again!? That's funny!

Size on this Planet isnt very accurately displayed^^ Things are much bigger than you think. There are Comparision Videos that show the true Size of the aquatic Neighbors.
