I mean, you're asking a question that you could literally have answered yourself within seconds.
You robbed yourself the chance to find something out in game. Why are you playing Subnautica then? If you get stuck or come across a problem, yeah, the community is here to help you. And we're here to listen to stories of your time in the depth.
But as for answering questions like this, it seems odd to me? Like if someone see's a Reaper for the first time and comes on the forum to ask how to deal with them. I feel they're not.....understanding the spirit of this game.
If you die a lot to Reapers and get frustrated, and you've tried things and they don't work, then yes come and ask for help. But if you see a Creature Egg, don't come on here asking "If it ok if I pick up this Creature Egg? Or will the monsters attack me if I steal their egg?"
Just do it. Play the game. Experience it. Get shocked. Scared. Or relieved. I am the kind of player that often see's an opportunity to make a very foolish decision. I'll eagerly save and "Hold my beer" and do rediculous things. I'm not saying THAT is the right way to play either. But just that there are gonna be more moments like this one for you, in the future of the game.
And I'd like to suggest a safe save (not saving in a bad situation) and then experimenting to your own limits.
And hey, if you DO get stuck or frustrated, or even curious again? Ask again if you want. What I'm going on about are just suggestions and not orders or commands. Stay safe.
