In severe danger!
Help please someone! I went for a cruise in my cyclops NW and came into contact with a ghost Leviathan, he went and got friends and damaged my cyclops and when I got my prawn suit out and got attacked as well...Now I cannot get near to repair cyclops or get my prawn suit which is now on the sea floor. They are 2019 m NW from life pod and 1123m NW from my base. I do not know what to do- so help please help, thank you in advance.

You are probably going to have to build new vehicles, or at least a PRAWN.

Then you are going to have to avoid the Mountains (except for the Island) throughout the rest of the game.

Alternatively, you can try to learn to kill some leviathans. Carefully. By drawing them out and doing one at a time.

I recommend that you don't do anything in that area until you at least have a PDS on your Seamoth,

From what you're describing, it sounds like you ventured out past the Crater's Edge, into the dead zone. This area functions as the edge of the map, as there's nothing there and the game will spawn multiple ghost leviathans to attack you. Depending on how far it is, you may be able to reach it, fabricate a shield generator inside it, then run that until you get back to safety. Though, probably, the cyclops realistically is gone. As for the prawn suit, that's gone, there's no way for you to get it back. There isn't actually a bottom there, it just goes forever, but warps you back to 0, 0, 0 if you hit 8100-something meters (not 8192, game doesn't consider sea level as 0 height). It will not warp the prawn suit back if you are not inside it.

Nah, the cyclops is plenty tough. As long as you're not stupid about it, you can easily take it to the mountains/dunes/crash zone.

The Cyclops can be bizarrely stealthy. At low speeds, it's less likely to draw attention from leviathans than Ryley swimming around unassisted. Just come to a complete stop if they come too close. Alternately, if you have the shield and know how to tap it on and off quickly, you can ram reapers to death in a half dozen or so collisions.
Cheers fellow players! I will re build my two lost and not go there again. Lessons learnt, I am not into a full on fight to the death, so there we are. Once again thank you and I will mark the spot as the graveyard.

It doesn't matter once you enter the dead zone, this should have gave it away where OP was in the game's world.

Because this only happened in ONE VERY SPECIFIC SPOT in the world and you're advised to never go there once.

I was responding to the comment immediately above mine as well as a previous post about not going to the mountains with it (Cyclops is great for that area, really).

Further, depending on what the 'friends' who came with were, depending on if the life pod was in one of the northern or southern spawn points they could very well have been describing the ghost leviathan in the north blood kelp area.

Ghost leviathans aren't that close to each other because Juvie Ghost are inside the lost river while the adults are outside and they aren't that close to each other for aggro to go from one to another, the dead zone on the other hand has THREE ADULTS go after you all at once each with three to five minute intervals between them spawning.

You didn't read my post it seems. It depends on what the 'friends' were, as it is not stated whether they were further ghost leviathans or other fauna like crabsquids which tend to make like very irritating when you're focusing on something larger. Can't counter-ram or activate the shielding with no power. Also ampeels, although they're usually not a threat on their own to the Cyclops.

Further, I've been chased by two adults at once in the Grand Reef. I was in a Seamoth and not very pleased.

As for the spawn rate, it's a lot faster than that. You'll have all three ghosts on you within a couple minutes in the void. Depending on where they spawn, the first two may hit you within a few seconds of each other. You'll also have a handy warning that you've entered the ecological dead zone and get to see how the sea floor drops away.

Oops! I didn't notice that you said GHOST Leviathan.
And I admit that I got confused and was speaking of the in-bounds dangers to the NE or the SS, not the NW. No Mountains in that quadrant.

If you saw more than one Ghost Leviathan, somewhere to the NW of the SS, then you WERE out into the Void.

Nope, ain't recovering that.
The Void Ancient Ghosts will keep respawning every 20 sec after you kill one, and the Cyclops & PRAWN will eventually sink to -8000m +.

Just swim home, carefully, probably best on the surface, and build new stuff.
Don't venture beyond the Crater massif edge, or it will happen again.

They said GHOST LEVIATHAN, Who's the one that didn't read now?

Ghost leviathan and 'friends'. Please try harder.
