Ark is more like Rust than this game.
This game is single player.
Aside from eating small fish there isnt any combat other than predators trying to eat you and you avoiding them.
The game has a greater emphasis on survival, exploration and discovery.
Currently nothing respawns and the map is not procedural, so resources are limited until you are able to generate them on your own.
You can build bases and submarines, and the landscape is made of voxels

Personally I like the game. I've played a lot of Ark myself and I wish Ark's sea game was as good as this.

lets assume youve seen the trailers for this game...................... you know all the UNDERWATER stuff.................. the SINGLE PLAYER stuff...................... the lack of raiding and the inclusion of actual clothing !!

How the ♥♥♥♥ could you EVER imagine this was even somewhat compareable to rust ????

your basically trying to compare a dirt-clod to a star destroyer !!!

The ONLY thing similiar is they both appear on your computer screen................... after that hteres NO WAY they are even remotely close

This wasnt even a good troll post.................. this is completely unbelievable.

If you want to know what the game is like, I'd recommend watching a youtuber like Jacksepticeye or Markiplier to see what it's like.

It's hard to tell.

They're both survival games but have completely different gameplay. Your choices will also be completely different than the ones you would make with Rust since this is a singleplayer game, and Rust is a multiplayer game.

It's a survival game with a focus on surviving underwater rather than above ground. As a result, you'll be doing things much differently. You won't be punching trees and then progressing from there - instead you'll be doing things like gathering metal scraps on the bottom of the ocean, gathering various different plants, quartz, etc.

If you want something new and different in the survival genre rather than the typical punching trees and getting stones gameplay (which I'm also a fan of, hehe), then yeah, you'll love this. Definitely a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, some random YouTube LPs could help with that, though.
