I launched with one loaded with gold, diamond and rubies. Didn't change the ending, alas.
Hey! You should let @G1cu7201 find that out for himself!
It''s been a few months since I played because I started a new game on Cyberpunk to play the Phantom Liberty expansion (which is absolutely worth the price of admission). About done with that and will probably do a quick playthru of Subnautica before finally playing Red Dead Redemption 2.
Doing a quick playthru of Subnautica inbetween games is like having lemon sorbet as a palate cleanser inbetween courses.
I replay the games I love often enough - and games like this I take my time with, to the extreme - and honestly, a hardcore / permadeath playthrough is pretty fun and can change how you approach the game. I hadn't played it for a long time and now it's almost like new, because I actually have to think twice sometimes, to not risk death. The longer the game gets the worse (more fun) that aspect gets too.
Very immersive ;) immersion games are king, for me. 18 hours in at the moment. Man, drowning or getting eaten would sure hurt about now >=)
