cant find the deep sea degasi base

so, i've heard that this base has alien containment, which i'm really excited for. this is my first ever playthrough, btw. anyway, i heard that after collecting the pdf's in the other base, a beacon unlocks for the next base. i didnt get anything. currently i have the first three bart logs, degasi voice logs 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, environment log, paul's log, and marguerets speaking freely. am i missing something?

The one you may have missed could be in the jellyshroom cave. There is one in a locker next to the water filtration machine. And there is one on the ground outside the base. Ii think one of those points to the deep base.

The third Degasi base is located in the deep grand reef.

If I remember correctly voice log 3 is on the Floating Island, it's easy to remember because it's the one on a path and not near any of the 3 bases.

This is true.
But the PDA entry that lights up the deep Degasi base is the one in the locker in the Jellyshroom cave. Lots of people miss it because you have to squeeze in between the water filtration machine and the locker and turn towards the locker. You can't see it from the doorway.

One more tricky thing about finding this last Degasi Seabae is the Signal beacon (unlocked by the PDA in the locker next to the water filtration machine) has the same name as the Jellyshroom Cave Degasi Seabase: "Proposed Degasi Habitat". The only difference is the depth (500m not 250m).
