I need a very detailed step by step guide on how to get the Alterrahub mod on my computer. :snguy:

Assuming windows and that you haven’t already installed anything, do let me know if you are on another platform or have installed anything:

Follow the instructions in the image in the following link to set the game to the Legacy version of the game:

Download: https://www.nexusmods.com/subnautica/mods/201

Extract the zip and copy the contents from that extracted folder to your Subnautica folder. Launch the game and quit the game. This will create a Qmods folder in your Subnautica folder, assuming you did the previous steps correctly.

https://www.nexusmods.com/subnautica/mods/113

Go to the files tab and download 2.15(legacy). Extract the zip and put the contents of the extracted folder in your Subnautica\Qmods folder.

http://fcstudioshub.com/subnautica/alterrahub-4/

Download and extract the zip. Put the contents of the extracted folder in your Subnautica\Qmods folder.

That’s it, let me know if anything isn’t clear.

Ray -
You didn't walk him through assuring that he is playing Legacy. It isn't going to work on 2.0.

I am aware that i need legacy edition, but is there a specific step where i need to install it? or do I just install it as step 1?

The first link is an image of how to install the Legacy version. So yeah, follow the instructions from top to bottom.

Follow-up question: do I need the Bepinex subnautica pack for any of those mods to work?
Ray Robertson Jun 6, 2023 @ 12:19pm
You don’t need it for the Alterra Hub mods, but it is a newer version than the one packaged with the Qmodmanager pack, so wouldn’t be a bad thing to install it. Just install it after you’ve installed the Qmodmanager pack and select yes to overwrite.
