Grav Trap stopped working

my grav trap just stopped working. i built a new one and it worked twice and then it stopped working also. anyone know what i am doing or not doing? thx

Try picking it up and redeploying it.

There seems to be a 'fished out' mechanic in play - even when there seems a few left about.

There may be better equipment to try fishing with though.

Same here - I picked mine up (second time I had done it) and was gonna redeploy it, but it only briefly puts the segments out, then pulls them back in. No gravity beams being emitted. I've tried several deployment locations, no luck.

As @Sputnik wrote, I tried out the Propulsion Cannon now and it's much faster and more efficient to use - you only capture the fish or items you really want!

played through the game several times and never used one, there's a lot better food supply if you just grow your own plants.

Grav trap has other uses...like gathering those hard to reach Outcrops inside heat vents.
