How to find diamonds???

I've searched everywhere but I can't seem to find them. I've tried the great coral reef, are there any other places I can find them and can I find them in a stone (like limestone or basalt)?

I've cracked open about 20 basalt rocks and just got gold and uranium. Is my version outdated? I'm playing on the April 2016 version.

I tend to find a lot in the Deep Grand Reef :) Uranium is up for grabs there too!

When I went to moutans for Magnet, I found a diamond or two at it's base underwater....just crak stone open like other ore.

Basalt crops DO contain diamonds, they also spawn on the floor in the Grand Reef.

Or you could explore and find the diamonds yourself instead of asking people where everything is.
