How do you rotate items?

So i'm fairly new to the game and ive just started building my base. I was wondering how you rotate items, i.e the corridors. checked the controls but it doesnt seem to be there.

It's.... pretty touch and go. Some, you can rotate (using either Q&E, or the mouse wheel - I forget), and others the only way to rotate them is by moving the character's perspective around.

I'm pretty sure the devs will iron this all out, but it's probably pretty low on their priorities.

Go to the options and you can reset the key bindings

It seems that only a few items can be rotated via the keybindings and many (perhaps most) seem to rely on the character turning around while "holding" the item out in front of them which makes for a very inflexible way to place stuff. Hope the devs look at this pretty soon as well as allow for some kind of grid snapping/aligning so we can make our layouts look "pretty" and aligned uniformly.

Right now the rotate items is only for building ROOMS. And even then only at 90 degree angles for base snap too stuff, which can also be fairly finicky (Oh god, trying to rotate a moon pool....)

I too, can't wait until we can rotate more normal placeable items
