Colossal Reefback?

my question is: Is there a giant reefback planned for the game? or is already in the game

like right here for instants (it appears around 10:02)- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHj4Nlu7wCU

i wanted to know to see if this was a hoax https://www.reddit.com/r/subnautica/comments/44dmy2/giant_reefback_now_with_seamoth_for_scale/

since i posted a comment on markiplier's latest subnaut video and a guy repiled saying it wasn't real. just want to know...

Preffered if Devs would answer to make the answer legit

it does exist, but i think its a joke or not meant to be in the game

In the game there is a huge crab snake. Larger than the Reaper. This ghost snakes. It is possible to see in the gallery.

The Giant Reefback was (or still is; was it fixed?) a bug. For some reason, an oversized Reefback would randomly spawn instead of a normal one.

I think you mean the Sandworm. Yep, it's massive. It's also scrapped, unfortunately...

Supposedly reefbacks if left alone can grow large enough to support a small ecosystem on their back. Not sure if it would be buildable or not but it would have resources

There are currently only four more confirmed giants. The sea emperor, sea dragon, crabsquid, and the sea treader

Please get a screenshot of this thing. It might be a Spine Eel, though I wouldn't have expected to see one in the Ent Gallery yet.

There are currently only four more confirmed giants. The sea emperor, sea dragon, crabsquid, and the sea treader

The Crabsquid and Sea Treader are not Leviathans, though you are correct- there are four planned leviathans. So far, we have the Reaper, and as you said, the Emperor and Dragon are planned. But the 4th one is unknown, we just know it lives in the Lost River biome. Unless you were just referring to large creatures, in which the Spine Eel may be considered- it looks fairly large compared to the Exosuit.

where do they say there will be 4? and didnt they say somewhere that the emperor would be in the lost river biome?

This has recently started happening to me. I have about 7 hours on my newest world, but I've seen giant reefbacks a few times now, and I haven't seen them in any of the previous worlds I've made. Is it really a joke of sorts or just a glitch?
