Two fish of the same type will multiply up to the cap for that species. One fish each of two types will not reproduce. If you want more than one kind of fish breeding in a large aquarium, you need two of each type of fish you want to breed.
From a purely practical standpoint, a double-stacked large aquarium with reginalds and airsacks, planted with creepvine, is all you need.
1. Do the larger creatures breed (the ones you add with the eggs)? I have several pairs of creatures, and they haven't bred at all (I'm not over the cap).
2. Is there any way of breeding floaters? You can put them inside the tank standing from the outside (you have to repair after!), but they don't breed.
2. I have no idea never tried it but idt they can actually breed since they are attached i think they reproduce asexually by cloning. which is not in game
I wonder why mine aren't breeding then. I take it one large aquarium is big enough, so long as I have less than 10 things in it? Also I'm playing stable.
..left click to the eggs laying on bottom or right click & inventory & drop the egg again ..that worked to me. ..like helping them out of the eggs , so to say.
